Tips for Best Results
Image Quality
Use high-resolution images (500 × 500 px or larger). Blurry or compressed images produce imprecise edges. Avoid low-quality JPEGs with heavy artifacts.
Background Type
Works best with solid or near-uniform backgrounds — white studio shots, green screens, flat-color product photos, and ID-style portraits. Complex or textured backgrounds will need a higher tolerance.
Tolerance Slider
Set low (10–30) for clean, high-contrast backgrounds like pure white or bright green. Increase to 50–90 for off-white, light grey, or slightly varied backgrounds. Too high may eat into the subject.
Pick BG Color
If auto-detect misses the background colour, click Pick from Image then click directly on the background area. This samples the exact pixel and gives more accurate results.
